On 14 November 2025, Roma Versitas Kosovo hosted the ‘National Roundtable on Combating Antigypsyism,’ an important space where institutions, civil society, and community voices came together to address one of the most pressing challenges Roma face in Kosovo and beyond.

Roma Versitas Kosovo shared:
While it is unfortunate that we still have to fight such a harmful phenomenon in 2025, this reality makes our work even more essential. Antigypsyism continues to shape the daily lives, opportunities, and dignity of Roma communities, and addressing it requires joint action, honest dialogue, and long-term commitment.
Our appreciation goes to all representatives, activists, students, institutions, and community members who joined us today. Your presence strengthens the path toward concrete solutions and real change.
Roma Versitas Kosovo remains committed to pushing this conversation forward from lived experiences to policy solutions, from recognition to real impact.
Indigenous and traveler communities, such as the Roma, are disproportionately affected by statelessness and documentation issues, which curtail their enjoyment of other rights. Anti-Roma sentiment and discrimination make it difficult for affected individuals to navigate legal systems and obtain documentation, often making statelessness a generational problem among the Roma communities.
Roma Versitas Kosovo works on the areas of access to citizenship and civil registration among Roma communities, inclusion of minority communities in Kosovo society, and the promotion of Roma cultural heritage.
