The Global Statelessness Fund launch event was held online on January 16th, 2025 with the contributions of our grantee partners, Steering Group members, donors and partners, and staff members. Members of civil society organizations, professionals in the philanthropic sector, academics, and those interested in statelessness participated in this event to celebrate our launch and get to know the Fund. During the event, Noor Azizah from the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network talked about their work with Rohingya women and children in the ASEAN region and their experience as a grantee of the Global Statelessness Fund.
The Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network is a collective of Rohingya women who are experts in various fields. Their experience in advocacy and human rights protection spans over 2 decades collectively and as an organization, their efforts have achieved significant milestones, especially in narrative change. The Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network have heightened awareness about the Rohingya genocide along with the accompanying humanitarian crisis while offering sustainable solutions with a multi-dimensional approach.
