In an interactive session organized by the EDGE Funders Alliance, our Steering Group members Martin Dunn, Yasah Musa, Laura van Waas, and Management Committee member Jean-François de Hertogh talked about the creation and launch of the Global Statelessness Fund.
This session highlighted how the Fund’s design centers the needs and lived experiences of stateless activists and impacted person-led groups, and discusses the particular challenges and tensions between the complementary goals and values of the Fund, such as providing resources to the frontline groups quickly and while making sure the processes are participatory in a meaningful way.
