Knowledge Webinar Series by the Global Alliance to End Statelessness spotlights ‘concrete actions, lessons learned, and collaborative solutions to end statelessness worldwide.’
The third instalment of the series, titled ‘Fundraising for Impact: Mobilizing Resources to End Statelessness,’ took place on November 20th, 2025. This webinar highlighted practical experiences from funders and organizations that have successfully raised resources for their work on statelessness and equal nationality rights.
On the panel discussion, Sabine Larribeau, Manager of the Global Statelessness Fund, shared how the Fund supports and strengthens impacted person-led initiatives and underlined the lessons from our first year of operation with examples from our grantee partners, such as the importance of trust-based and long-term funding.
The discussion further explored how to connect advocacy goals with donor priorities and provided practical recommendations for initiatives looking to resource their work, as well as for donors to access groups working on challenging situations and seize crucial opportunities to support statelessness work that intersects with many of their priorities.
